Tanja-Tiziana (pronounced like, Tahn-ya Tih-zee-ana) is a pro photographer based in Toronto, Canada.
She specializes in Editorial Portraiture and Documentary work, while currently moonlighting in the world of Architectural Photography. Past roles include Managing Photographer at Now Magazine, Managing Editor of BlogTO, and Managing Photographer of Yonge Street Media, amidst 20 years of freelance work for dozens of publications across the continent.
In her personal projects, Tanja employs photography to tell stories that exist outside of our linear sense of time. She captures lives and spaces that defy a fixed place in the past or present — offering the viewer a non-linear and non-binary vision of passing time more akin to memory than history.
